Apply a critical, interdisciplinary perspective on contemporary health issues in health promotion, healthcare, psychology, sociology, gerontology, public health, medicine, or related health fields. Explore opportunities to work closely with other LU research centres, such as, Centre for Rural and Northern Health Research (CRaNHR), Centre for Research in Occupational Safety and Health (CROSH), and the Laurentian Research Institute for Aging (LRIA). Offered via REMOTE SYNCHRONOUS DELIVERY (e.g., Live classes via Zoom). Students are most welcome to take on-campus electives from other programs, study on campus and conduct their research and meet with supervisory faculty locally. Explore one of three pathways that lead you to graduation: (i) MA research thesis, (ii) MA major paper, or (iii) MSc thesis. You may contact the Graduate Coordinator to decide which path best suits your career goals. A research-intensive program, available on a full-time or part-time basis. Full-time and part-time students are expected to complete all program requirements within two (2) years and three (3) years, respectively.
