The Adult Clinical track provides training in the practice of clinical assessment and intervention.Therapy training is offered in a variety of therapeutic approaches, including psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioural, experiential, emotion-focussed, and family therapy.Much of this training is provided on campus at the Psychological Services and Research Centre (PSRC). Through the Centre, students provide clinical services to members of the University community under faculty supervision through course-related practica.As well, five post-MA clinical students are accepted for year-long half-time practicum positions each year.The Department of Psychology is part of the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences.At the undergraduate level, students can earn a General BA in Psychology or Child Psychology, or an Honours BA or Honours BA with Thesis in Psychology or Developmental Psychology.We also offer innovative and unique programs with our partners in other disciplines. With the Department of Biological Sciences, we offer a BSc in Behaviour, Cognition and Neuroscience. Together with the School of Social Work, we offer an Honours BAin Disability Studies, and we have partnered with the University of Windsor Faculty of Education and the St. Clair Early Childhood Education program to offer a concurrent Psychology BA/BEd/ECE for future teachers. Students can combine Psychology with another degree program, and transfer students are welcome We have a special degree completion program for graduates of some CYC programs
