Learn to develop and apply statistical methods to solve problems arising in health, biology and the environment.When you graduate you will have opportunities for employment in pharmaceutical companies, contract research organizations, regional or national centres for health research, academic centres, and public health agencies.The program gives you the flexibility to pursue a research paper, thesis, or co-op option, which you can switch into after the first term.Research areas include, analysis of life history data, causal inference, clustered data, design and analysis of clinical trials, epidemiological studies, longitudinal data analysis, methods for dealing with incomplete data and measurement error, and studies of biological systems.
