Nurses specializing in palliative care assist individuals and those close to them with physical, psychosocial and spiritual concerns and provide support through the bereavement processes.
Graduates specializing in palliative care nursing work in hospices, palliative units, acute care, home care settings, continuing care or nurse consulting positions. There are many opportunities to apply this specialized knowledge in both urban and rural settings.
