If you’re looking for an exhilarating and rewarding career as a Paramedic working at the frontline of healthcare, our Paramedic Science degree will equip you with the tools and experience you need to be successful. You’ll not only develop essential academic and practical abilities, but will also gain wide experience and knowledge of a variety of contemporary healthcare contexts, as you prepare. The course is fully approved by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) which enables graduates to apply for HCPC registration as a paramedic.

You’ll be inspired by experienced paramedics and other healthcare professionals in practice settings, drawing on their professional expertise as you work alongside them to face a variety of real-world challenges. Taking advantage of our state-of-the-art facilities including simulated medical settings, you’ll learn from accomplished lecturers with extensive knowledge of the pre-hospital care field. Graduates could also pursue careers in other NHS and private healthcare settings – such as minor injuries units, health surgeries and emergency care teams. With a qualification recognised in many countries around the world, you may even be able to work in overseas healthcare settings (subject to their right to work).
