The Associate in Arts in Journalism for Transfer Degree is designed to prepare the student for transfer to four-year institutions of higher education and is specifically intended to satisfy lower division requirements for a baccalaureate degree in Journalism at a California State University.

The Journalism AA-T degree requires: completion with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.0 in all of the 60 CSU-transferable semester units completion of the major and the CSU General Education (40 units) or IGETC (37-39 units) requirements.

High School transcripts and Diploma; minimum of 2.0 or ""C"" grade point average, if transferring directly from a U.S.-based College or University.

Students under 18 years of age may apply, but must submit final transcripts showing secondary/high school completion before the first term of enrollment.

Proof of English Proficiency
