The AAS in Construction Engineering Technology program combines classroom, lab and industry experiences to prepare students for careers in construction. Students study engineering mechanics, construction contract documents, materials and methods, scheduling and cost estimating for commercial and residential construction. Graduates often continue on to a bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering Technology or enter the construction industry. They find employment with construction contractors, engineering firms, material suppliers or public agencies.
