The Department of History offers training in content knowledge and foundational skills for today’s world- evidence-based critical thinking, primary source research, close reading, persuasive communication, and analytical writing. History majors go on to a range of careers in education, business, consulting, media and journalism, law, government and public service, archival and museum work, and more.
