The General Theatre Concentration offers students with a wide range of interests an opportunity to explore theatre in all its many forms and aspects. Our General Theatre majors tend to be students who want to explore and understand theatre but do not intend to specialize as performers, designers, or technicians. Many of our General Theatre majors go on to be teachers, scholars, and writers for stage and screen. As a General Theatre major, you have access to our multiple-award-winning faculty in all their diversity and depth of knowledge, combined with the opportunities to participate in any aspect of theatre to which you find yourself attracted.
