The Electronic Engineering Technology program offers specialized instruction in modern electronics, automation, and digital systems. The mission of the program is to produce highly skilled graduates with a strong foundation in electronic principles, applied engineering technology, and problem-solving for today’s industries.The Electronic Engineering Technology (EET) program prepares graduates to engage in the rapidly evolving fields of electronics, computing, automation, and communications. Students gain comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience in areas such as electronic communications, digital systems and computing, automatic control systems and robotics, audio and video technologies, and medical electronics. A distinctive feature of the program is its strong laboratory component, where students develop skills in computer-based problem solving, the application of modern electronic test equipment, and the use of microprocessors and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).The curriculum also introduces specialized coursework in robotics and automation, ensuring students are prepared for emerging technologies and industry demands. Emphasis is placed on both theoretical knowledge and applied practice, giving graduates the ability to analyze, design, and implement solutions across multiple sectors.The program is accredited by the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission (ETAC) of ABET, which recognizes programs that meet rigorous standards of quality and professional relevance in engineering technology education.
