The Irene Ransom Bradley School of Nursing offers a program leading to the degree Bachelor of Science in Nursing with a major in nursing in two tracks the Pre-RN Licensure Track and the RN to BSN Track. (RN refers to Registered Nurse and BSN refers to Bachelor of Science in Nursing.) The baccalaureate degree in nursing/master's degree in nursing at Pittsburg State University is approved by the Kansas State Board of Nursing and is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education The Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at Pittsburg State University requires a minimum of 120 hours for graduation. Nursing Credit Hours Taken at Pittsburg State University (30 hours) Validated Nursing Credit Hours (32 hours) Total Credit Hours for Upper Division Nursing Major (62-68 hours) Total Credit Hours General Education and Nursing Pre-requisite Courses (58 hours)
