The Ph.D. in Education with an option in Mathematics Education at Oklahoma State prepares students to conduct research on teaching and learning mathematics at the P-12 level and beyond. Graduates are prepared to teach an array of mathematics education courses at both the undergraduate and graduate level and are qualified for faculty positions in teacher education programs or community colleges, as well as other mathematics education leadership positions.Our coursework offers flexibility so you can tailor your studies to reach your career goals. Successful degree completion requires a minimum of 69-credit hours past the master’s degree, including 15 hours of dissertation.
