Evolution, ecology and behavior encompass those aspects of the life and environmental sciences that characterize how organisms interact with each other and their environment, and how those interactions change over time. The graduate program in evolution, ecology and behavior is an interdisciplinary program that brings faculty and students with research and teaching interests in these fields, into a single graduate program creating a coordinated and focused approach to graduate education. The program is designed to train researchers, educators, managers and regulators in the study of evolution, ecology, and behavior.

- The personal statement for MS applicants should include an explanation of what skills, theories and actions they hope to learn and accomplish through their MS research. The personal statement for PhD applicants should detail the theory they hope to test and the skills they hope and should cite relevant research. They should also state how their reading of their potential advisors record indicates that advisor should be able to help them with this.
3 recommendation letter writers and their email addresses into the application
- For applicants to the MS program at least one letter writer should be a professor. For applicants to the PhD program at least two letter writers should be a professor.
Applicants should have a CGPA of 3.0 or higher (cumulative undergraduate grade point average). The EEB program is competitive, and average GPA admission scores are generally 3.5 for MS, and 3.8 for PhD applicants.
