Graduate students pursue M.S. or PhD. degrees in Animal and Veterinary Sciences. The Department of Veterinary Sciences offers interdisciplinary education with animal or public health focus. Your graduate education can be related to a specific medical discipline including but not limited to virology, bacteriology, parasitology, pathology, toxicology, epidemiology, and immunology. Many projects emphasize domestic animal or wildlife health issues, investigate diseases occurring at the domestic animal/ wildlife interface, or study zoonotic agents.
