Conduct research using advanced mechanical engineering concepts. Tackle issues in advanced fluid mechanics, continuum mechanics, adaptive structures, intelligent systems, robotics, advanced composite materials, nano-heat transfer and energy systems, and other emerging areas. Working closely with our faculty experts, you'll apply analytical, computational, and experimental tools to solve problems in some of the areas listed above. You'll also gain technical agility that will allow you to cross disciplinary boundaries and solve increasingly complex engineering problems.
