UMass Lowell’s Ph.D. in Psychology degree program provides an immersive and hands-on research experience. Our program is designed to equip students with both a strong foundation in psychological science and the tools to apply psychological theories to real-world challenges. As a doctoral student, you’ll receive specialized training in high-demand areas sought by employers, such as advanced quantitative and qualitative methods, behavior analysis, epigenetics, psychophysiology, narrative methods, grant and policy writing and meta-analytic approaches.
