The Integrative Healthcare Studies Major (IHSM) program prepares students for future careers in the health professions. The program offers a hybrid of rigorous coursework, labs, and experiential learning - preparing students for Graduate School or bachelors-level jobs in the health industry. Learners will develop problem-solving abilities, leadership aptitude, and communication skills needed for interacting with patients, families, and colleagues. The Integrative Healthcare Studies Major also emphasizes population science, cultural competency (Health), and ethics - providing students with the knowledge and skills to improve health outcomes among pluralistic, multicultural populations.
