Produce creative nonfiction media. Gain a solid grounding in communication and the theoretical, critical, and practical traditions that inform documentary work. You'll engage in intensive research and fieldwork, develop professional storytelling production skills, and learn to critically analyze media in terms of both content and craft. In the course of your studies, you'll begin to view production tools and techniques as a means to author a unique point of view shaped by your own philosophical sensibilities and ways of perceiving the world. Admission requirements Individual program admission requirements over and above admission to NAU are required. See the application for details.Applicants must have earned a bachelors degree from a regionally accredited institution and a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 out of a 4.0 scale to be considered for regular admission. Admitted students are expected to have undergraduate educational experiences, including general education studies, that are similar to those required for a baccalaureate at Northern Arizona University. Applicants who have earned their degree(s) from an international institution must submit official transcripts directly from the university or college. The transcripts must be in the original language of the country accompanied by an English translation.
