Master of Counseling - Clinical Mental Health Counseling

Counselors play an important role in helping people of all ages manage trauma, anxiety, stress and more. Our CACREP-accredited counseling program enables graduates to deliver professional counseling services in a clinical mental health or school setting.The program is distinguished by exceptional in-classroom instruction, a cohort model where students form strong bonds, and both academic knowledge and theory. The experience of closely supervised practicum and internships build competence in counseling skills and in personal growthOSU-Cascades Master of Counseling program and High Desert ESD are excited to share our new Department of Education grant-funded program: Promoting and Advancing Training of High Desert School Counselors (PATH-SC). This program is intended to increase the number and diversity of qualified school counselors in high-needs, rural K-12 schools by providing financial support for participants and intentional relationship-building and mentoring throughout the program.
