UIndy MEXS students will dive deep into a wide spectrum of exercise science concepts designed to help them better understand and prescribe evidence-based exercise programming. Additionally, practical hands-on experiences built into the curriculum provide students with the skills needed to conduct assessments and monitor the effectiveness of exercise programs. Currently enrolled students are participating in some exciting clinical sites including St. Vincent Sport Performance, Indiana Cancer Wellness Center, local professional soccer team Indy Eleven, and UIndy Athletics.

ADVANTAGES
Complete your graduate work in one calendar year (3 semesters -- fall, spring, and summer).
Research opportunities using a wide spectrum of advanced clinical equipment (see below for a list of available equipment)
Students completing the clinical track will be eligible to register for the American College of Sport Medicine (ACSM) Clinical Exercise Physiology (CEP) certification exam.
Students choosing the human performance track will be well prepared for the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) exam.
Indianapolis offers a wealth of opportunities for interesting and relevant internships and practicum experiences.
UIndy offers a dietetics internship for those that qualify
