The Master of Science in Health Behavior Health Promotion directly links to the Ph.D. pathway and is the key first step on your way to the doctoral program. The challenging curriculum - a hybrid of core classes and elective coursework - explores health behavior health promotion theory, emphasizing the biological, behavioral and sociocultural determinants of health and health behavior. In addition to helping you gain the knowledge and hone the skills necessary for working on health issues in the diverse communities of the Southwestern United States, the program also analyzes the interventions and policies aimed at improving community and population health.
