The MS in Supply Chain and Operations provides foundational knowledge in supply chain and operations functional areas such as logistics, transportation, forecasting, warehouse and distribution management, production, quality, risk and decision analysis use of analytical modeling techniques with data analysis and business intelligence information analysis methods using enterprise resource and related systems leadership skills such as project and supplier management and the understanding of supply chain and operations strategies within a global context. There is an explosive growth in supply chain and operations challenges, arising from globalization, big data, e-commerce, social media, mobile technologies and automation. Be a part of the evolving and rapidly expanding field of supply chain and operations. The UIC Business Liautaud Graduate School MS in Supply Chain and Operations Management Program is a STEM-designated program directed at meeting the growing demand for professionals in supply chain and operations. It will provide you with foundational knowledge in the areas of analytical modeling, enterprise systems, and analytic and business intelligence, all while developing your leadership skills with a global context. Degree Required Bachelor's degree Baccalaureate Field Individuals from all baccalaureate fields are encouraged to apply. The exact course requirements will be determined based on an individual's baccalaureate field and work experience. All applicants must have had the following background course work: mathematics through the level of calculus covering integration and differentiation, linear algebra, basic probability, and statistics through regression analysis. Grade Point Average At least 3.00/4.00 for the final 60 semester (90 quarter) hours of undergraduate study. Applicants with a masters degree must have maintained a grade point average of at least 3.00/4.00 in that program. Relevant work experience beyond academic study will also be considered.
