The University of Central Missouri’s Bachelor of Arts in Music allows you to compose your own pathway to a music career no matter what your background is. We take an interdisciplinary approach to our Music major, so you can specialize in an area that interests you. UCM Music faculty work closely with all students majoring in Music and can help you design a customized undergraduate course of study in the Music BA program. This flexible approach means you can choose the courses that are most appropriate for your future career field, whether you want to be an ethnomusicologist, anthropologist, music therapist, historian, music producer, arts administrator or something entirely different.
