The Graduate Certificate in Nursing Education (NE) is designed to prepare graduate nurses for teaching positions in educational and service settings. The program provides students with essential teaching skills and knowledge about the nursing education process. Learners gain a theoretical framework for teaching in nursing and related competencies.The NE must be earned within three years. No transfer credit will be accepted for a graduate certificate. A minimum honor point average of 3.0 must be achieved. All coursework must be completed in accordance with the academic procedures of the college and the Graduate School governing graduate scholarship and degrees.
