Radiological Physics (Certificate)

The certificate program is intended to refresh knowledge of specific topics in health physics. It is also available for those who wish to take courses for Continuing Education Credit from the American Academy of Health Physics or in preparation for the initial certification for the American Board of Radiology qualifying examination.Topics covered include instrumentation for health physics, radiation biophysics, the nuclear fuel cycle, radiation dosimetry, and medical health physics.Coursework from the certificate program may be applied toward a Master of Health Physics degree. Admission to a master’s program is not guaranteed upon completion of the certificate program.
