The BSN completion program is for students with an RN license who want to pursue a bachelor's degree. The RN-BSN completion program offers the same high-quality education as traditional in-class degrees, including information-rich course content personalized attention and access to educational resources, library services and a network of faculty, staff and other students. Applications are accepted at any time during the year with new cohorts starting in January and August of each year. Students can choose to attend full or part time. The full-time program can be completed in approximately 16 months. As a graduate of the online RN to BSN program from the University of Illinois Chicago, you will be equipped to adapt to evolving needs in health care and empowered to continue growing in your nursing career. A BSN from UIC also prepares students for the rigors of graduate school. You will study nursing informatics, the role of caring in professional nursing, nursing leadership and management, social and economic issues in contemporary health care, and more.
