Atmospheric Sciences Accelerated Masters Program (AMP)

The Atmospheric Sciences master's pathway is a two-year program that combines coursework in subjects such as dynamic and physical meteorology with active research in areas like climate and global change or improving monsoon predictability. In studying Earth's atmosphere, you'll examine key variables - temperature, pressure, water vapor - and their interactions and how they shift with time. Upon completion of the degree, you'll be adept at analyzing the forces that create weather and trained to forecast those forces. Areas of research include changes in hydrologic extremes under a warmer climate, weather analysis and predictability, atmospheric chemistry, and more.
