STEM-classified degree: graduates are eligible for 3 years of Optional Practical Training (OPT) in the USA. This degree is taught by ASU’s College of Health Solutions, which bringings together researchers, faculty, students and community partners from many disciplines to turn scientific research into practical solutions. The Bachelor of Science program in dietetics provides a comprehensive foundation for students aspiring to become registered dietitians. This program blends coursework in anatomy, physiology, chemistry and nutrition. Students are equipped with the knowledge to promote health through dietary interventions and readied for diverse roles in health care. Crucially, students are prepared to apply for a dietetic internship and related master's degree programs, both of which are required by the Commission on Dietetic Registration to sit for the registration exam.
3.0 GPA or equivalent. Must have three years of high school coursework. (If you are currently in high school, ASU needs to see 9–11 grade coursework. If you have completed high school, ASU needs to see 10–12 grade coursework.) Must have and present a completed high school diploma or certificate.
