The Ph.D. in the Entomology and Insect Science Graduate Interdisciplinary Program may be the right fit if you have multidisciplinary interests in areas such as insect ecology, plant chemistry, behavioral ecology, neurobiology, pest management or epidemiology. The program spans basic and applied research, using insects as models to both address fundamental biological questions and find answers to challenges affecting humankind. You will complete a minor outside Entomology and Insect Science, and the program is known for its flexibility, allowing you to tailor your studies to your individual interests, develop cross-disciplinary connections, and bring together aspects of insect biology in unconventional ways.
